As your dog’s weight drops and fitness improves think about gradually building your weekly activity level.

Boost both you and your dog’s activity by:

: adding in the occasional extra walkies outing

: by increasing the distance covered during each walk

: or increasing the length of walking time.

Your dog’s growing fitness, means you’ll soon find set walking distances taking a shorter period of time to cover. So rather than restricting your dog’s time out and about, think about extending your walkies session.

Set yourself the weekly challenge of achieving and maybe even beating your previous week’s walk tally. Keep your activity graph on the up and watch your time and distance stats grow!

NB. Increments to exercise should be gradual and only considered if your dog is coping well with their current activity level.
