Dog weight gain equivalents:
- A 12 lb Shih Tzu gaining 5 lbs is the equivalent of an extra 58 lbs on a 140 lb woman.
- A 10 kilogram Cavalier King Charles Spaniel gaining 2 kg is the equivalent of a 70 kg woman putting on an additional 14 kilograms.
- An extra 15 kilograms on a 30 kilogram Labrador is the equivalent of a 70 kilogram lady carrying an additional 35 kilograms.
