Human equivalent intake:
Woman (154 lb/ 70 kg)
1 ounce of cheddar cheese (28 grams) One and a half chocolate bars
1 tablespoon of peanut butter One slice of pizza
1 oatmeal biscuit One hot dog
1 slice buttered toast 3 x bags of potato chips
1 slice Hawaiian pizza 4 x hamburgers plus half a bag of potato chips
1 pigs ear chew 4 ½ sugared donuts
1 x small/ medium jumbone dog treat 3 x hamburgers and half a chocolate bar
 

 

Dog weight gain equivalents:

  • A 12 lb Shih Tzu gaining 5 lbs is the equivalent of an extra 58 lbs on a 140 lb woman.
  • A 10 kilogram Cavalier King Charles Spaniel gaining 2 kg is the equivalent of a 70 kg woman putting on an additional 14 kilograms.
  • An extra 15 kilograms on a 30 kilogram Labrador is the equivalent of a 70 kilogram lady carrying an additional 35 kilograms.
